This is the first radio studio in this building. The cart machines are SpotMasters and the console is a Consolette from Gates Radio. You can see the light in the VU meter in the console in the second studio through the window behind the microphone. The clock on the wall to the right of the rack caused a serious problem once. During a rocket attack, it fell off the wall and its sharp edge cut through a bundle of wires between the rack and the console. We were off the air for a few hours while we rewired the studio!
